Review / Comments ::

"Acoustacism" doesn't fit into the genres that I typically review for Streams-of-Time. And as an out right disclaimer, this album isn't new age, but more of a mix between folk and reggae.

I ran into Kalai's music when I was looking over music at the iTunes Music Store. I was drawn in by the lyrics in the short 30 second samples. It wasn't that I wasn't interested, I was, but I listened to each 30 second sample... then I purchased it.

Each song is a story; there are some tracks that you can sing along with, and even relate too, but there are also songs that you just have to sit back and respect the story.

I enjoy every track, and about a week after I purchased it on iTunes, and was continually playing it over and over again, I decided to buy a physical copy... just a show of support to the artist.

If I had to pick a few songs to be my favorites, I would pick the following: ( 1 ) Both Sides, ( 2 ) On My Mind, ( 6 ) One Life, and ( 9 ) Patience Lies, at my absolute favorite.

"Acoustacism" has a lofty place on my list of top favorites, and I humbly award it Streams-of-Time's 5 out of 5 Stars, for an outstanding album!
